HVC is celebrating an anniversary! No, the company has not been around for 500 years, but Havana City has. Back in 2019, Reinier Lorenzo, founder and owner of HVC, wanted to do something special for the 500th birthday of the city he holds so close to his heart. So, he called up his friends at Aganorsa Leaf and asked for some of their best tobaccos for this special project.
Aganorsa grows some of the best tobacco in Nicaragua, and those tobaccos are on full display in the HVC 500 Years Anniversary. This beautiful Nicaraguan puro features a Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 wrapper from Jalapa, secured over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. This blend was initially meant to be a limited-edition release, but it became so popular that Lorenzo decided to make it an ongoing product.
The HVC 500 Years Anniversary is a cigar befitting a celebration, and believe us, you will find yourself looking for any reason to celebrate with this beauty. Expect to find a medium-strength smoking experience with a creamy texture and notes of roasted and salted nuts, fresh bread crust, baking spices, and touches of black pepper.
