nited Cigars is expanding its 250-year-old Red Anchor brand, adding two line extensions to the portfolio. Called Captain and Gunner, the cigars measure 5 inches long by 50 ring gauge and 6 1/2 inches long by 43 ring gauge, respectively.
Red Anchor features a Habano 2000 Ecuador wrapper with a mix of Dominican and American tobaccos to round out the binder and filler, including some tobacco grown on farms owned by the Kelner family. United says the cigars have a medium-to-full body. Like the rest of the line, the two new sizes will come in boxes of 25.
